Donald D. Dilworth, MD, FACS
“Some surgical problems have quick, simple fixes while others require complex, extensive procedures. I enjoy the challenge of taking care of the entire spectrum of my patients’ surgical needs. “As a general surgeon, I can diagnose a disease or condition, treat it and have the patient go on to lead an otherwise normal life. I like being able to achieve this in the community where I grew up. I help real people every day. I help them feel comfortable and feel right at home, no matter what their condition or circumstances are.”

“When I was growing up, I was influenced by a family friend who was an excellent physician. I wanted to be a physician for as long as I can remember. I love what I do for a living, interacting with patients and performing procedures. I treat my patients like family – they are comfortable with me. I speak to them in terms they can understand. To broaden my medical knowledge, I pursued a critical care fellowship so that I can offer my patients more comprehensive care.”

“When it comes to surgery, no two cases – and no two patients – are exactly alike. This demands not just technical proficiency but also attention to detail and the skill and know-how to handle a wide range of diagnostic situations and complex surgical challenges. I look at each person who trusts me with their care as someone who depends on me to provide relief and resolution. They deserve my compassion, my best skill and my unwavering commitment to their best interests. I also know that taking this approach helps me become both a better person and a better surgeon with each individual I help."
Board-Certified: American Board of Surgery Fellow: American College of Surgeons
Advanced Fellowships: Burn Surgery, U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research, Fort Sam Houston Surgical

Craig See, MD, FACS
“Being a general surgeon is about being prepared, adaptable and confident. After 15 years’ active duty in the US Army and five deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, I feel like there are no surgical problems I can’t solve. I enjoy surgery because it presents complex problems and gives me the opportunity to immediately intervene. My best quality is perseverance. I will not quit and I always see things through to a resolution for my patients. What’s most satisfying for me is fixing a problem for the patient who has been told that they will have to live with the problem.”
